Newsvine Beta is now live

Look's like Mike Davidson's Newsvine is now in a private beta stage. Looks promising so far. I'll be interested to see if the blogisphere and the traditional media embrace the new concept of comment-based news articles. One big factor is moderation; many news organizations are publicly held companies and would suffer a public relations issue if their sites were boycotted due to something like foul language, even if included in intelligently written pieces.
